Relaxation & Stress Management Courses for Clients


The Relaxation for Living & More Ltd short courses are designed to help people with relaxation, stress, anxiety, mild depression and stress related health problems. Some people are recommended to us by their GPs, but many contact us directly because they want to take control of their own lives and recognise their need for help.

Our method uses practical, focussed and effective series of sessions run by our trained and licensed practitioners and teachers, supported by our DVD and CDs. Our methods have been tried and trusted for more than 35 years, are entirely evidence-based and currently used by healthcare professionals throughout the NHS and private practice.

Our standard Relaxation and Stress Management course consists of 4 weekly 1½ hour sessions as well as practice at home between sessions. During the course we aim to:

  • Raise awareness of anxiety and muscle tension and introduce techniques that will help address personal issues
  • Start to address the physical, cognitive and lifestyle issues which may be contributing to negative thoughts and anxieties
  • Learn to use physiological relaxation

On completion of the course, participants will be more aware of the causes of their stress, anxiety or mild depression and will have learned simple exercises and practical techniques to alleviate their symptoms and reduce or even conquer their problem.
